What's up with the MS x64 trial dowload?
The operating system is 32 bit though there is a version that is 64 bit. Longhorn is supposed to be 64 bit but is still 32 bit in the alpha stage. (I have a laptop) Would this be the catacory I should download from? I've been using XP SP1 but I have a feeling I've been looking at the wrong up-dates.

My guess is that the earliest 64-bit processors were obsolete more than 20 years ago, perhaps as many as 25.
